French hand painted portrait miniature style painting after the 1761 Jean Baptiste Greuze painting entitled "The Village Bride" and set in a wreath, bow & ribbon topped gilt bronze frame! This painting, signed by the artist at about the four o'clock area, only shows the two sisters but the original painting tells more of the story, with mother & father outside of what you see here. Beautifully done, the colors and detail draw
