A gicle is a printing process which creates a richness, accuracy and depth of colour through microscopic dots of pigment based ink, ensuring the fidelity of the print to the original artwork. Lawrence begins his paintings with a simple pencil line to denote the horizon before mentally mapping out the rest of the composition. Following this, he applies oil paint before blending
