This is a black wool tab with a single silver pip in the center, to indicate the rank of Watchmeister. This was an NCO rank in the TeNo, that is roughly the equivalent to Sergeant or Sergeant Major. The wool on this example is very good, with no mothing at all. The single pip retains the majority of its silver finish. You can see
