In full sun, leaves develop a heavy tint of pink red with contrasting dark green veins. Fall display is an impressive fiery reddish orange. Aka shigisatsu sawa is a mid sized maple that will grow to about 8 feet tall by 5 6 feet wide at mature height. Sun part shade does not do well in hot afternoon sun in hot climates. Best suited for zones 6 9.
