marked by a long ripening window that allowed Cabernet to achieve excellent physiological maturity while retaining bright natural acidity

After recovering from the late frosts in 2013 the quality of the grapes is enhanced by the reduced volume

The tannins are fine and fruit rich so already wonderfully balanced and can be enjoyed now but will definitely soften and gain complexity over time

2020 Yarra Yering Agincourt Cabernet Malbec 750ml Ardbeg Ardcore It’s plush75 25% cabernet malbec. Mainly berry sorted and destemmed with a small amount of whole bunches. Matured in French Bordeaux style barriques (15% new). A deep crimson red. Fragrant with darker red fruits, freshly hung meat and a lifted floral, herbal character from the malbec.
