3-Lug Vase Color:Oatmeal This sugar and creamer setThese 3 Lug Vases don't have a lyrical name, the word lug being of obscure etymology. From 1620s as "handle of a pitcher," this sense probably from Scottish "lugge" earflap of a cap, "ear" from the late middle English Scandinavian in which lug meant to pull slowly with effort. However, these Lug Vases are large, 8 1 2" x 7" width, and are wonderfully simple with tall sprays of flowers or branches.
