Summers Varvill Wooden Ogee Plane (Beech) BIT GAUGE The stock is marked 'An old wooden ogee plane by Summers Varvill. The front nose is fainlty marked 'Summers Varvill, Ebor Works, York' and the rear is marked '3'. This plane is about 160 180 years old. Blade Width: 17mm approx. Condition: all parts move freely, cutter face has some pitting, please see photos for condition.
