There was May Blossom out and insects and birds added to the atmosphere

I painted this outside on Harrogate’s Stray in May with the sun shining and the Cherry Blossom at their peak in full bloom

leaves and twigs to dip into acrylic paint and apply to the watercolour paper

I was inspired to paint this view looking towards the mountain range from Clos Mirabel where I stayed for a week in Summer
