Château de Béru, Chablis 'Montserre' 2021 / 2022 South Africa is well into its phenomenalPlace: Burgundy, France Grape: Chardonnay Vibe: Racy This one comes from a single parcel right at the top of the Bru hillside, where well draining soils help create a wine thats all tension and precision. 2021 is one of my favourite releases yet, the oak is used with a light hand, and just enough to soften the sharp acidity and shape it into a smoky, citrusy bomb with hints of nougat and melted butter. The 2022, from a slightly warmer year lives up to
