(no damage to any of the mother of pearl matrix upon which elaborate pearl arrangements are built up) but needs light restoration work as shown

Antique Victorian Papier-Mâché Jewelry Box, Mother of Pearl Inlays, Lock and Key Young girl I've had a few ofA splendid early to mid Victorian English Papier mch box in surprisingly fine condition, this one would have been a handkerchief box from the size. The outer measurement is 7. 75" square, all those serpentine scalloped edges intact and not broken away. The box is about 3 8" thick (sidewalls) and interior compartment, so nicely preserved with its original silk lining, is 5 5 8" square. So pretty, and perfect now for jewelry or display. A monogram at
