French Grey Shallot Gift A stunner in tones ofFrench Grey Shallots, also known as Griselles, are thought of as the true shallots, as they can only be propagated from bulbs. Highly prized by chefs, foodies, and home cooks alike, they have a delicious, more refined, umami flavor, as well as very pretty, delicate, pink purple flesh. Grey shallots do not store as well as Dutch Red Shallots (only about 3 4 months), but they make up for it with their exquisite flavor. Plan to use them up by the winter
