A mid-1800s silk velvet and leather cigar case (cheroot case) which now doubles as a gorgeous spectacles case

to the extent that one can almost 'know' the collector's eye and love of these old treasures

Arrow scabbard needle case has the 18k gold medallion with kiln-fired enamel pansy/flower which affirms it was original sold through the famed Palais Royal boutiques of the old palace of Cardinal Richelieu

perhaps a moth at some point in the 170 or so years since it was embroidered

I think the handles are horn on 6 of the razors. The chest or case is to highest French standards, per the pride taken in the cabinet makers' standards. A working lock but we don't have a key to it at listing time. Full
