Those in France might well be feeling a little nervous, and rightly so. This is flinty and reductive at first, before it unfurls into apple skin, orange zest and a gentle bready note from the lees. Two winters in barrel have harmonised what was a cracking yet powerful vintage in this neck of the woods. Burgundian comparisons are more than fair, but this also speaks
