The front flap is not reinforced. It is a canvas flap that buckles closed. The front of the backup has 4 leather loops attached to the front. This canvas flap has some discoloration to it, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. There is also a small spot of discoloration to the canvas on the reverse of the pack.
