The D 16 is used with Waterra Standard Flow HDPE or LDPE Tubing ( X ). The tapered male thread self taps into the polyethylene tubing making a semi secure connection. If this valve is used in a deep monitoring well (> 50), a stainless screw may be driven through the poly tubing and into the
