The design for this piece has been created with seed beads in red creating an intricate floral pattern

silver plated and created using an image of a gorgeous fossilised fern as the base

masking out sections of a picture using wax and then adding colour leaving the masked sections untouched

The brooch is sealed using a deep layer of resin to protect the design

In this design ferns were used to mask the area and those parts remained pale whilst the other areas developed a darker blue colour
