I did a small 6 by 6 inches painting of a similar setup and decided that it would look good as a larger piece and then worked on this

I worked on a series of still life paintings with a bunch of pink flowers and some lemons

The outer layer of petals are white but the inner ones glow in warm yellow orange tones
