Veronica Ortega, Cobrana 2021 Chardonnay This is very goodPlace: Bierzo, Spain Grape: Menca + Doa Blanca + Godello + Palomino etc etc Vibe: Light n bright 75% Menca with the balance made up of various indigenous white varieties, from 90 year old vineyards that were traditionally co planted with red and white grapes. That, plus the fact the vineyards are planted at 750m altitude and super gentle extraction in the winery means this is about as fresh a Spanish red as you can find. Seriously, find a fresher one,
