The fittings retain approx. 85% of the original nickel silver finish. The black checkered grip plates are very good, though there is a small dent on the reverse, just above the crossguard. The enameled HJ Diamond is very good. The enamel is intact, and free of major scuffing and scratches. It fits tight into the grip. The steel scabbard retains the majority of its
