This is an unframed open edition mounted Giclée print of Anita Bowerman’s original paper cutting artwork which was commissioned by Ashville College in 2015

She loved painting in these contrasting colours to create a fresh picture of one of Spring’s first flowers

Anita has been appointed the Artist-in-Residence at RHS Garden Harlow Carr and this is the third in a series of 12 paintings she will be creating up to September 2019

The original was created en plein air

She painted this picture using the end of a twig to dip into the paint and applied it to the canvas
