Soft fabric in Rust ilford 16%CO (insert 100% recycled polyesterThe story of this velvet is akin to the creation of the Innate collection itself. The desire was to create a superbly thick and luxurious velvet in a rich rust tone. Italy's premium velvet weaver realised the weave but achieving the colour was a whole other story. Australias desert heart achieved its iconic red colour from the rusting of its vast inland seas. That rust colour is not something contemporary dyers entirely understand but we persevered.
