Rear Brake piston - Titanium. CR125, 250, 500. 1987-2001 Controls Please note: The nut is6AL4v Titanium rear brake piston. Original steel pistons have a tendency to corrode and seize. Not only are Titanium pistons significantly lighter than the stock original, they are also corrosion resistant. The finishing touch is the super smooth and super hard Titanium Nitride coating (TiN) to reduce friction. This translates into more responsive brakes with a better feel. Titanium also transfers less heat to the brake fluid, so it reduces fluid
