Streptavidin also binds to 2-iminobiotin and iminobiotinylated substances, in a pH-dependent fashion. Therefore, the iminobiotinylated substance can be captured onto the immobilized streptavidin at pH 9.5 11.0 and can be eluted at pH 4.0
