2023 Gruner Veltliner ‘Basket Press’ Magnum intense of flavour and soFermented in stainless steel and French oak; the wine rested on lees for 15 months. A very squeaky, succulent white wine with distinct savoury and root vegetable elements, as is often the case with this variety. Preserved lemon, ginger, green almond, hay and oatmeal characters are the mainstays here. Excellent length of flavour, freshness and the savoury derived complexity elevates the wine.
