Leaves are smaller than the vine maple species and perhaps thicker. Smaller than the species but similar habit with multiple branching can form a nice rounded shrub. Dels Dwarf does not disappoint come October, bringing astounding fall colors of yellow, orange and red. This maple is a very hard dwarf, growing no more than five to six feet in 10 years.
