C. 1946 Rare Ralph Rapson for Knoll Associates Dining / Side Arm Chair in Birch Tables and Cabinets 25 inches wideListed for sale is an exceptional early Knoll Associates armchair, designed by Jens Risom. This example has what looks to be a natural maple frame and lovely striped black fabric. The chair notably retains its original Knoll Associates label, which dates to the mid to late 1940s, when Knoll had its showroom at 601 Madison Avenue in New York City. The chair is in very good to excellent vintage condition with some wear and patina as noted in the photos.
