A Minton Lyre side plate Old wooden crate with engineeredA rare find. A 19th century Minton 8 small plate in the Lyre design. Hand painted in a cobalt blue & red floral design. Wear to some of painted edges, but overall in good condition. Minton bases in Staffordshire, England was one of the most successful and well known pottery companies of its time.
