A fabulous piece in excellent shape with only slight signs of wear to the plating on the case-back and underside of the buckle

Rectangular with with rounded corners

The inside of the case-back bears assay marks for London 1970 alongside hallmarks for 9 carat gold

I like to think this was an early Christmas present from Dr Hemel to himself

It’s decorated with applied stick indices
