We've taken 300 year old reclaimed oak from a Central European barn, the sort of wood that's seen rather more history than most of us ever will, and wrapped it in Italian fabric covered cable to create a chandelier that's properly handsome and utterly fetching. No drilling, no damage, no faffing about with the timber. Just gorgeous
