Disney's Tarzan Maquette Cast and Crew Gift DreamCon 2025 Alex Toth & Neal AdamsTraditionally a maquette is a three dimensional model that the animators use as reference. At Walt Disney Feature Animation's height, the company produced exclusive limited edition maquettes as gifts for the Disney employees that worked on the film. This maquette of Tarzan standing next to a tree was sculpted by sculptor Kent Melton (who sculpted most of the maquettes for Feature Animation during the 1990s). Only 2,200 were made and were given to cast
