Bobby Jones started his design work with Spalding 1929, and this set was ultimately introduced in 1931 following Bobby's Grand Slam in 1930. Interestingly, Bobby's involvement landed him in hot water with the USGA, due to his receiving compensation for design work, which threatened his amateur status. There is an enormous interest by
