An Iron Scale-Tang Handle Knife, circa 1600 A superb intact group comprisingAn English hand forged iron single straight bladed knife with a hooked protective bolster, featuring a scale tang handle, likely made from English oak, dating to c1600. The handle carved with initials W. R, likely to be the owner of the knife, and to the other side a decorate 'S' like mark.
