Copper Tea Caddy, England. Early 20th century. sold Height: 17cm / Width: 20cmAn unusual and exceptionally smart copper tea caddy; a stand out piece with regards to its minimal decoration and form, paired with precise fabrication. Every surface has been graced with a rich, warm patina that only decades of use can produce. Upon closer inspection, we can see the the surface has been so well handled and worn that only the ghost of original etchings can be found. On one side sits what appears to be a phoenix with spreading wings.
