My favorite is of the First Class Dining Room with its red carpet and blue velour chairs

a year before the MARIPOSA and MONTEREY took their maiden voyage for Matson

although she rusted at La Spezia's for several years before being broken up

The CARINTHIA was chartered for only three months, making this Furness deck plan of a Cunard ship very rare indeed. Although undated, it is from 1931. Furness apparently combined Cabin and Tourist classes and called them First Class, leading to a duplication of public rooms and a wide range of cabin
