Islay Violets 33 Year Old Grain Glen Elgin and Linkwood distilleriesA 33 year old single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery bottled by independent bottler Elixir Distillers*. Matured in American oak before being finished in Cognac casks. Bottled at 46. 2%. Nose: Parma violets, jasmine, lemon peel, geranium and smoky, burning sage. Palate: Violet petals, rosemary, soft oak spice, juniper, pine and rosewater. Finish: Hints of pink grapefruit and champagne cocktails linger in the finish. *Originally known as
