Our first visit to the park and my leg was broken

The Kootenay Lake area is a beautiful high elevation region with tons of great dirt roads and forest to explore

In the past that part of the forest hadn't looked very interesting but with the sunset casting a strange red light on everything it had become a whole other world

The contrast is sharp and clouds add an extra element of mood to the image
