Bronze Hu Vase antique-rustic Based on a 19th centuryThis cast bronze vase is a reproduction of a 'hu' wine vessel. The originals dated from as far back as the Shang dynasty (1600 1045 BC) and were thought to be used in rituals, placed in the grave an ancestor to ensure a good relationship with the ancestor's spirit.
