From my position in City Park I was able to position the setting sun at the Wells Fargo Building (Cash Register) and the mountains

Looking down the road I had noticed the contrast of the two fields ahead and now the plane overflying one of those fields which got me thinking

For me including the building added perspective of size versus the close-up of the reflection in this instance

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

From this perspective I am able to capture the ice in the picture and help tell the story of that day

Skater's Cabin at Night Presentation:Photobox From my position in CityThe skies have cleared and the full moon allowed for some evening photography during a November week in Juneau. With these conditions, I headed to Skaters Cabin which is along Mendenhall Lake. Upon arriving at the parking area for the cabin it was cool and clear and the moon was just rising over the Juneau Ice Field. This allowed for a long exposure as the moon providing the lighting this evening. After taking this image I walked over to the lake
