横縞と縦に流れるように浮き出た絞り柄は全く同じ柄が存在しない絞り染めならではの魅力を持ちます。

扇面を重ねたような文様に江戸小紋柄を当てはめた小紋から。

17～18世紀のインド由来の布地にも描かれている古い文様で、山道を登るように線が左右に振れていることから山道文や山路文と呼びます。

菊文様は古くから貴族や武家で使用されてきたことから「高貴」の意味を持ちます。
