Mem (39) CounterpointImport absence of ocelliThe Juncus triformis complex is a small group of highly reduced annual rushes found in vernally moist areas of western North America, centered in California. Although the complex was revised as recently as 1948, this volume treats two aspects that have warranted further investigation: the exact circumscription of taxa within the complex; and the origina and placement of the complex within the genus. The present re evaluation of the Juncus triformis
