Dom Perignon 2013 Champagne 44yo slightly fruity nowNamed after Dom Prignon, a monk and cellar master at the Benedictine abbey in Hautvillers who pioneered a number of winemaking techniques around 1670, Dom Prignon Champagne is always a vintage champagne, meaning that all grapes used to make the wine were harvested in the same year. Produced by Dom Prignons cellar master Vincent Chaperon, Dom Prignon 2013 is an assemblage of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay grapes. Secondary fermentation in bottle
