Joseph Voillot, Volnay Champans Vintage:2021 grilled herb and dark berry(from vines that average 50 years of age). Cool and restrained aromas are comprised of red currant, cherry, spice, earth and lovely floral nuances. There is excellent size, weight and vibrancy to the more discreetly mineral inflected and sleekly muscular flavors that terminate in a firmly austere, linear and mildly drying finish. The balance isnt ideal and I would suggest drinking this on the younger side. 88 2018+
