This is evolving glacially and certainly much slower than I originally foresaw but it should be a stunner of a Clos de Vougeot when it finally reaches its peak

This isn’t quite as structured as the Pucelles but it is still sufficiently prominent to make evident that here too patience will be rewarded

Luigi Oddero, Barolo Rocche Rivera other_regions 3 ha parcel of 30+The 2014 Barolo Rocche Rivera(from the Scarrone cru) packs a serious punch in its deceptively midweight frame. Sweet red cherry, kirsch, hard candy, wild flowers and mint make a strong first impression before the firm 2014 Nebbiolo tannins kick in. Today, the Rocche Rivera is a bit rough around the edges and a touch wild, but it is certainly not lacking in personality. Antonio Galloni
