Woven Mat by Mary Nabegeyo camping 5cm W x 21cm HMary Nabegeyo Pandanus grass weaving is a traditional practice amongst Daluk (Indigenous women) in Kakadu. First, Daluk gather pandanus leaves, stripping and preparing them. Then, using native berries, plants and flowers, the grass is dyed and hung in batches to dry.
