Denver Reflections Washington Park With a storm having moved

With a storm having moved through the area over night as well as high tide the water was coming up to the steps down to the cove bringing man and nature merging in the scene

This morning I noticed the light was mostly straight down the the numbered streets in the downtown area (if you are not familiar with downtown Denver they run on a SE/NW direction)

The yellow of the bus is slowly getting stripped off and maybe even showing a different color it was painted before getting to the steel of the bus and rust

and capturing it on a yearly basis you can see the changes you may miss looking at it every day

After about 10 minutes the scene changed from what first caught my eye on this quiet morning in the East Bay

Denver Reflections Washington Park With a storm having movedWalking through Downtown Denver recently I walked on a couple of streets which I had not been on recently. Keeping an eye out for something interesting in the buildings, I noticed this reflection in the distance. Having a little longer lens on my camera than I would normally use allowed me to see this new perspective. I think what drew me in for this photograph was the contrast between the light and dark while the colorful building being reflected
