As I usually do when it snows I head out to capture some images around the city and on this day headed to the LoHi area

This small island just off the coast was coming and going in the rain and clouds

I was in the place I wanted to be

On a windy spring day I was able to head up to the clock tower of East High School

Even the City and County of Denver website has limited information about the park itself

Leaf at Washington Park Building As I usually do whenI found my walking around Washington Park in Denver during Fall. As I neared Smith Lake in the park I noticed a lone leaf in the water. The wind was providing some ripples on the lake and was also slowly moving the leaf. I found my angle to capture the image (while also staying dry) and used the ripples to fill in the rest of the frame for this image.
