Perylene Maroon Series 5 - WC Available in the following StonegroundA lightfast alternative to fugitive Alizarin Crimsons, Perylene Maroon is a dull reddish brown colour that is useful in landscape, portrait, wildlife, botanical and floral paintings. Its transparency and semi granular nature allows for interesting effects when built up in layers. Artists Notes: This dull maroon acts more like an earth colour than other modern colours when used in mixing, and is very useful to add shadows to bright reds. Watercolour
