One of the quickest ways to get a view of Juneau is to take the Mount Roberts Tramway

With camera in hand I captured some images along the fresh snow

As I had a tilt-shift lens with me the majority of the images taken on the first of the two days was with this lens as shown in the image below

Walking around Civic Center Park I headed up the steps of the Colorado State Capitol and was treated with a nice view of the mountains with still some fall color in the area

Flamingo in Chicago Size:11"x14" One of the quickest waysIn the plaza of the Federal buildings in Chicago is the Flamingo sculpture by Alexander Calder. This was the first time in many years I walked past this location and on this occasion the orange of the sculpture and the black background caught my attention. Instead of photographing the full piece, I chose the just photograph portions of the piece with the buildings filling the whole background.
