The result was the distance starting to become out of focus and let the viewer imagine their own thoughts on the location

Noticing that the wind was blowing out of the south I found myself south of airport to photograph takeoffs

What drew me to take this picture was the curving line amongst the layers of ice on the berg

A nice soft light gives the metal on these two pieces at the salvage yard a sense of belonging and compliments the scene

With Reykjavik also being so far north the position of the sun changes drastically over the course of the year as well which also provides differing directions of shadows from the light

Pine Cone in the Snow Holiday Cards:Package of 50 Holiday Cards The result was the distanceAs some snow fell in the city I took advantage of this and headed to the foothills to photograph. I soon came across a tree with many pine cones where I spent some time taking pictures. With the fresh snow in the tree and a small blanket of snow as a background this was one of my favorites from the images I took. The folded card is 5"x7" and the inside of the holiday card has the greeting: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year
