In the fall of 2009

With the recent snow and cold part of this river was iced over however the water still continued to flow towards the Lynn Canal

The image for today is a pre-dawn shot and with a longer shutter speed was able to capture some of the movement of the clouds just below me

the vertical snow would start to build up on the lens which forced me to turn the camera and clean it after an image or two was captured

I noticed leaves lying around the court and looked for one which was on a line

Sunset on the Beach in Oregon Size:24"x36" In the fall of 2009As I positioned myself for sunset along the southern Oregon coast I stayed a little after sunset to capture some of the motion of the ocean along the water. After some images of photographing directly at the ocean I turned my camera to capture along the coast. This image was just by waiting for the waves to come up the beach during a low tide which provided a wide open space on the beach this late February evening.
